Livy and Precious, the Cat

In this book, I describe what happened when I accidentally rescued a small kitten from drowning in a lake. Now, the little homeless kitten wants me to teach her to be a cat. That is a joke on me. Me, a dog, trying to teach a kitten to be a cat.

Since I am a dog, I don’t always use a good choice of words…my English is not the best. After all, English is my second language. So, I do make mistakes…at least once per year. If you don’t understand something…ask your parents or a friend. I encourage you to share my stories with others and have discussions. Believe me when I say that I will not be mad at you if you disagree with me. I am just speaking from a dog’s point of view and from my value system based on my experiences and what I have seen on TV.

As Livy’s owner and her private editor, I just want to say I truly enjoyed working with Livy. She has many strong opinions and feels very determined to make changes upon hearing about mistreated pets. This book was designed to help readers of all ages learn more about pets…from a dog’s point of view. Some points she makes are funny but make us really think about the point she’s making. There are lessons to be learned if you remain open-minded. And by the way, after working on this project with Livy, I am glad to say, I’m now a better pet owner.
