Advocacy, Literacy, and Empathy

Our primary objective is to **implement programs that educate the public, especially young children, on how to treat pets and all animals better.** Vascosity has taken a firm stance against the mistreatment of animals and animal abuse, actively supporting shelters and programs that work to fight cruelty.

Livy: Our Canine Spokes-Author

One key way we educate children on pet care facts is through our Avatar Pet, **Livy**, a dog who writes from a canine's point of view. Livy has authored three successful books and is working on her fourth, ***“Livy Meets Precious, the Cat.”***

  • **Current Titles:** *“All Dogs Have Rights,” “Dog Have Feelings II,”* and *“Dog Runs for President.”*
  • **Impact:** Children are proud to finish reading a real novel, written by a dog, and learn crucial life lessons about compassion and responsibility from an animal's perspective.

The Vocational School Road Map

Vascosity’s second major objective is a community-based project to open a **Vocational School** to increase the skill level of the unemployed workforce, including veterans, retirees, and individuals experiencing homelessness. This initiative is designed to reduce unemployment by training students for high-demand, backend jobs in the film and entertainment industry.

Publishing Integrity & Writer Education

Vascosity has a crucial **publishing division** that not only sells books but also teaches aspiring new writers how to navigate the complex world of publishing and avoid common pitfalls. The publishing industry is unfortunately filled with scammers waiting to take advantage of new, uninformed writers.

We teach writers how to **identify risk indicators** and what steps to take to confirm the legal aspects of dealing with marketers, agents, and publishing companies who offer “Get Rich Schemes.”

For example, a short while ago, Vascosity was offered a **\$300,000 contract** from a company attempting to buy ***“All Dogs Have Rights.”*** It turned out the major traditional publishing company supposedly behind the offer knew nothing about the deal. This experience exemplifies the risks, and we empower our writers to avoid such perils.
